I think there is no more beautiful an instrument than the cello. I love listening to the cello.
2nd one would have to be piano..

My favorite is guitar. Second place is tied with the flute and the saxophone. Airehead is right about the saxophone, very sexy that; and the flute is incredibly sweet. But anything that makes beautiful music is good.

That's a toss up for me.
I play Piano, Trombone, and Euphonium. Piano and Baritone would probably be my favorites. Trombone is not far behind. I like the versatility of the piano and the sound of the Euphonium.
I also loved Marimba before they took me off of it in high school. I had managed to learn Marimba and be able to play it with 4 mallots at the same time in just 2 weeks!

My favorite instrument is probably the vibraslap, but it's not a very versitle piece of equipment.
