Beans on toast made simple
Heinz have come up with a ready meal version of beans on toast.
The meal comes in a foil pack containing one portion of beans sandwiched between two slices of bread that goes in the toaster or under the grill.
Heinz Chief executive Bill Johnson said: "If people take the time to cook beans and put it on toast, why shouldn't we cut the process for them and give them beans on toast?
"Put it in a toaster, pop it up and the consumer's got it right there."
Heinz plans to have the snacks on sale by the end of the year reports The Sun.
