My daughter typically spends her time in the nursery during service. Yesterday, however, the nursery moms were both out, so we took her to services for the first time in probably a year and a half.
During communion, the priest is in preparation, and she's on my arm watching with great interest ... she turns to my wife, and in a completely clear and exceptionally audible voice, gleefully exclaims "Mommy, that man's making a tea party!!!"
But even the priest chuckled.
