I'm sick and bored/grumpy. Still in my PJ's feeling like a slug, downloading MP3 files. I found this new site that's cool and you don't have to download special stuff to use it: http://www.emp3finder.com and the download isn't too slow either. After this I think it's time for a nap. I just sent one of my cow-orkers an email that said "sharing the love is not supposed to mean sharing your GERMS!" hehe our whole group was sick last week, so I guess this is my initiation. 
Fortunately I am not too sick to have just made some really good hummus which we are snacking on now. It's so easy with one of those hand blenders. Watched some Food Channel earlier and now I have a craving for gnocchi. But it is nice not to have to do anything but lay around for a change......I really need to go into work tomorrow if I am feeling better. Blah.
Hope y'all are having a more exciting weekend than me!

Last night was a little too exciting, way too late in the evening. I am couch-potatoing/working as well. Getting ready to finish packing a bag and check in; B/F had an unforeseen crisis at restaurant and went in at 2:00 after getting home last nite at about 5:00 am (from same). I am glad that they are busy but he is looking like poop (from lack of sleep) and I have a feeling that tonite will be a sleepfest rather than anything else. At least the hotel has a pool.
So much for that bottle of Veux we have....

- i raked apr a ton of leaves
- and now my pregnant wife is trying to nestvicariously through me  (if that even makes sense)

Today was a busy day for me.
Race at 8am
check on sick wife when Igot home
Listened to Purdue vs OSU at noon
check on sick wife
Neighbors kids b-day party at 2:30
home to take care of sick wife
watch football for a bit
watching tv now. Nothing good on tv!

friday: took the day off from school, painted a wall in the living room, washed clothes, and went to musical rehearsal in the evening.
saturday, planned on painting the rest of the living room, but decided to get rid of the carpet in there instead. so I sent the family away and started tearing it out. It's all gone now. floor has been swept. now attempting to discover if we can sand it and refinish it. Not hardwood, but pine tongue + groove. furniture is all back as it was before, just no rugs in there!

I would kill for a day like yours genie.
The highlight of my day was that my youngest climbed into bed with me this morning and I stayed in bed until 8 o!! Heavenly.
The rest of the day has been filled with chores and a visit to my parents to see my nephew who is in town.
