I stole some of these questions from an article I just read...

Feel free to be as goofy as you wanna be! Wink

Q1: Chris of Green Bay - I have been eating healthy (following the weight watchers program) for the last few years and excercise regulary and can't shed any weight. What are my next steps.

Q2: Daniel of Frisco - I eat a Protein bar after every workout (in lieu of a lunch). Are there any long term side effects from doing this. Or in other words, will eating a protein bar instead a meal every day hurt me in the long run?

Q3: Lynn of Milwaukee - I've pretty much cut meat from my diet. Most evenings, I have butter beans (heated in sesame oil and balsamic vinegar); canned (unsalted) corn heated in sesame oil and rice vinegar; a potato with Smart Balance spread and fat free sour cream. My question - am I getting enough vitamins and nutrients in my evening meals? Thank you.

Q4: Jeff of Cauyuga - I seriously need to lose 30 to 40 pounds. Can you recommend a diet plan?

Dear Chris: Walking from the house to the car is not exercise. Do you see that large shiny black piece of furniture that's been following you around? It 's a piano, and it's tied to your a$$. You know what to do.

Q2: Daniel of Frisco - I eat a Protein bar after every workout (in lieu of a lunch). Are there any long term side effects from doing this. Or in other words, will eating a protein bar instead a meal every day hurt me in the long run?
Dear Daniel: Expect your reproductive parts to shrivel and fall off in 4-6 months. Now go get a steak.

Dear Lynn: See answer to question 2. But run, don't walk to the nearest Sizzler.

Dear Jeff: Stop eating so much.

Chris - you can't just follow a diet around, or watch your weight for that matter (I could watch mine go up all day long). You have to actually IMPLEMENT the program. Your next steps should be away from food and to the gym!

Of course not Daniel, but those of serious about our health follow the Adkins diet. Consider it.

The real question is, are you getting any taste from this meal?

Dear Chris,
Your next steps, you ask?
Go to the garage, grab the nearest chain saw and cut off a limb--
TA-DA! Problem solved!

Well Dan it all depends, do protein bars make you crap a lot? If they do then in the long run you may have the runs long...

Holy crap Lynn! I'd hate to see your poo!
Listen Lynn, get the heck out of the B52 song and start eating some real food, ok?
