Let's just say that hypothetically

a) you buy a pre-bagged salad
b) you eat one serving out of it
c) you place the rest of the salad into the refrigerator
d) said bag-o-salad rots in fridge because you won't eat dreaded left-overs
e) you repeat this cycle until the fridge is full of rotting bags of salad

So, wouldn't logic/common sense tell you to just THROW THAT DANG BAG OF SALAD AWAY after you've had your one serving? Mad

Why must the fridge be fully of rotting endive?

No, it would say don't buy it in the first place. Go to the salad bar for single serving.

No, because you might still have some leftovers, and it would be wasteful to throw away perfectly good food that isn't rotten yet.

Then it's no coincidence that the word "arrugula" already sounds like it refers to a waste product. Wink

stop buying bagged salad - it's way too expensive to throw away! but i love the convenience of it; it's practically fast food. Mr. Green

yesterday my daughter told me she had to dig thru the whole bag of soggy salad to find one crispy piece to put on her taco.... Embarassed

buying that stuff forces me (in most cases) to eat it cuz it goes south so fast. open it and eat it.

I'd say it would be an open invitation for me, as said observer to such behavior, to gain access to one free bag of salad (minus one serving) each time this occurs.

Why am I picturing George Costanza eating from the waste basket when I read this? Mr. Green
