Beer Goggles
Down South, Bubba called his attorney and asked, "Is it true they're suing the cigarette companies for causing people to get cancer?"
"Yes, Bubba, sure is true." responded the lawyer.
"And now someone is suing the fast food restaurants for making them fat and clogging their arteries with all them burgers and fries, is that true
mister lawyer?"
"Sure is Bubba. But why are you asking?"
"Cause what I wanna know is, I was thinkin', can I sue Budweiser for all the ugly women I've slept with ?"

Sure why not. Have him file the case in Philadelphia, he will win millions.

That's cute. Sad to say, I could tell you a sad tale about an equally frivolous lawsuit that most likely will be settled.
In a certain state, an insurer sent out leaflets with their policy holder's bills offering additioanal uninsured motorists coverage. A lot of people declined coverage. Then several were involved in accidents, and needed the uninsured motorists coverage more than they realized. One class action suit and a few ambulance chasers later, and we have people testifying in court to prove that the coverage was actually offered to the policyholders. What a waste of money. It's costing more than it would to just pay the people damages for the coverage they supposedly were not offered.
