No NFL tonight, I didn't realize that the NFL was afraid of the World Series??? I was hoping to do some serious channel hopping during commercials tonight.

Fox had the WS before the National Biscuit Company got the football. OTOH, like you said, they (MLB) have no way of knowing who the two teams will be in the Series.

I was disappointed, but I ended up watching baseball.

There are worse things.

Speaking of scheduling stuff on Sunday...

The 'thon was here yesterday. Last year it was two weeks earlier. Next year it goes back to its normal spot! WTF? No one with that race expalined why the change for this year, and why it's going back to its normal spot in 2007. Note - the '06 race was set up in '05 before thought was given to the White Sox making the post-season. And as far as I can tell, there were no major races that weekend to take world-class runners from it (those who don't run are preparing for NYC or finished one right before).

Ok, we watched the last win for the Cards and were set to watch last night.

Did you know that there have been rain delays in:

76, 81, 86, 96, 06?

must mean something!!!
