Heck, I've had days where I got more done staying late for an hour than I got done the entire work day

I've also accomplished more in 6 hours on a Saturday or Sunday in an empty office than I could in 30 hours during the workweek.

Been there, done that. I find it helpful to work holidays that other managers take off. No distractions and I get alot done.
