The places I've worked have always been accomodating about "trading" holidays. If you want to work a day like Good Friday, then you can take it off elsewhere on a day more appropriate to you.
Maybe because 3/4 of America calls themself Christian is why Good Friday is a holiday, no?

yup working tommorrow, not a special day. I don't remember school ever having off either and i never have had off work for it.
