I'm looking for some calf excersises to help my running. I've got myself some great ab workouts and such but not calves so anyone with any ideas on this or any other excersises or sports that would compliment my running just drop them here.
Bottomlining it, I need:
Calf workouts/excersises:
Other sports and/or workouts to compliment my running:

ScOOt the best exercise for your calves to improve your running is just that - RUNNING. Your strengthining your legs (not only your calves) every time you run. Try running on a soft surface, beach running (soft sand) really loads up the legs. Hill running is great too (preferably a natural surface) I could list umpteen weight exercises that attack the calves - Standing calf raises. One leg toe raises. Seated calf raises. Donkey calf raises. etc etc.
Runners need a good all over strength and exercise program and should steer clear of specifics, unless you know that you have a known weakness in that area. ie.calves.
