It's late in the evening
She's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make up
And brushes her long blonde hair

Do I look alright

 In my house, it works the other way. I'm usually all dressed and ready, my husband is still getting dressed.

well, honey, if you would have helped feed and wash the kids and cleaned up the kitchen, arranged for and picked up the babysitter, rented the movies they could watch, confirmed the dinner reservations, made sure there was gas in the car, ironed your own f'ing shirt, and allowed me to get dressed without two kids hanging on my legs begging me not to go out tonight, well, i probably would have been ready before you.
I like the night life baby.............LET'S GO!

In my house I have Pink Floyds, "The Wall." taped.
"Time to go. Time to go...." I repeat it over and over until she is ready. Most of the time I'm asleep on the couch by the time she is ready.

If we are going anyplace halfway decent, by the time Lucy is ready their are more clothes on the bed than in the closet.
