This is one of the races I am looking forward to the most during the Olympics. A girl (Kate O'Neill) who grew up in my town is running it and I know it's a really long shot for her to place. Does anyone know when it's on TV? And if the race is during the day and not on TV can we please not post the results? Or if anyone does can you put "spoiler" in the title thread so I don't open up the thread? Thanks!

Thanks! | The National Biscuit Company site says the race is Friday at 4:35 Athens time. Which would make 12:30 (as in noon hour) on NBC (I assume that's Eastern time). They do say it will be carried live, but I thought there was a six-or-seven hour discrepancy between U.S. and Athens time. I'm just telling you what their site says.
Hope it helps.

Speaking of Nabisco, little known fact: the chocolate covered Oreos are manufactured in only one bakery in the US - the northeast Philadelphia one 2 miles from my house. Sadly it is also just a half mile from my long run route.

I thought that factory was the home of 'Nilla wafers and Lorna Doones.

Mmmmmm Oreos. I just tried the new Oreo Thins. They are pretty tasty if you're needing a chocolate fix. If you want the creme filling you're outta luck.
