on Dec 31, 2003 of course. Turtle Creek PA

nice warm sunny day!
me: all excited about running a new year's eve race (2pm start time) and still all po'd from earlier phone call with the soon to be ex-wife. I had decided to go all out for this race in light of my mood Twisted Evil I thought things were goin well. Nice turn out for this race, not too many, not too few, just a nice size race. We got the start signal and off we went. I kept remembering how I wanted to channel some of that negative energy into my running.

alas, something went wrong. I got a stitch in the last mile, every breat was painful. I continued running, talking to myself and making horrible noises with every breath. by the time I finished, I was groaning with eachh inhale and exhale. I came into the chute at 25:16, which is not a horrible time, but I have been performing better in races. I tore off the bib slip and found a place to rest on my hands and knees still panting and moaning.

I have been sore since then. I ran some intervals yesterday and I think it helped but today there is still some pain in my ribs.

I'm still glad I got that last race in. I guess I overdid it though. Sad

Nice Job Keltic,
Maybe you channeled to much negative energy into the run???
