What other sports would you like to see subtracted...and added?
Subtract:
Any sport in which "artistic interpretation" is part of the scoring (gymnastics, rythmic gymnastics, ect.)
Racewalking.
Add:
I've always thought cross country (running, that is) would be a great addition. Possibly even to the Winter Olympics. Imagine a 10K cross country race in the snow featuring some of the world's best distance runners.
I realize this may never happen, because the Olympics have become all about television, but it's nice to daydream...

Out -
Synchronized swimming
Synchronized diving
Rhythmic Gymanstics
Badminton
Archery
Don't know -
Shooting
Tennis
Table Tennis
Add -
Relays at longer distances
They used to have cross-country in the Olympics until I think Paris in 1924. Temperature for the race was like 100, and runners were dropping right and left.

I've always been partial to Ultimate Fighting or WWF style wrestling.

Get rid of TRAMPOLINE!
I'm ok with leaving Tennis in. Tennis can be tough.

i'd have to say that balancing on those beams, or doing flips and twists and all that stuff is much harder then "running faster then the other guy".
somedays i think that some of the gymnastics sports have more merit then the running ones. just sayin.

Agreed, but judging is subjective in gymnastics (I don't want the sport removed, just saying). So, it is the opinion of the judges who was better. In track the man or woman who cross the line first, jumps highest, or throws farthest is the winner. Nothing subjective, just measurement.

Agreed.
To wit: This phrase, "Citius, Altius, Fortius" is the Olympic Motto.
Please, no marks for "artistic impression," thank you very much.
