Well, it's a locker room, and you have to change, shower, whatever, so you're going to be naked. It's only a body. And unfortunately, the locker room at the Y gets VERY warm at times, so there's no point in getting completely dressed and then sweating to death while you dry your hair or whatever.

It's taken me years to even be comfortable in a gym, much less the locker room. I really admire the women who walk around with no embarrassment.
And OL, I beg to differ but you ARE still a hottie in my book.

i don't mind seeing people naked.  doesn't bother me any which way.
i just don't like standing there completely naked, cold and dripping wet with my goods in a shriveled condition (and only getting worse). 
but if i got a towel keeping me warm i couldn't be bothered.

Well, there is that. I'm still as likely to be walking around in the buff, not like the locker rooms are mixed company and i need to impress anyone.
