the whole Janet Jackson thing got me thinking...

If for some reason you were "accidentally" exposed (don't ask me how, tube top mishap perhaps). Again, I'm talking accidental here...not flashing someone.

What would be your reaction?

Embarassed

Sad

Confused

Mr. Green

Twisted Evil

Just wondering. I think that the lovely mrs. coach would be: Confused
a little bothered, but, what's done is done.

I spent every summer of my life until I was 21 at the beach, so of course this happened. I was like

Big whoop! People in the US are way too puritanical when it comes to a little nudity.

see that's what I was wondering...I'm not trying to be a perv...just wondering how big a deal it would be. Like I said, and jrjo has now quoted me on it, "it's just a boob".

Just wondering the female perspective of it. That's all. No stories needed.

Embarassed Shocked Embarassed

happened to me at a super crowded water park. i was walking back from the snack bar thru the herds of walrus that lay around me...my hands were full of large drinks. the back of the bathing suit broke and the whole front just shot off my body. so glad i was walking along with my 13 y.o. son. my husband witnessed it from across the pond. it was classic.

but i was mortified. completely. no one even noticed except mr. i'm positive.

No...but I have dreams that it does happen. In meetings. Or...on the street.

In general, yes, Americans are. We've got a lot of ridiculous laws on the books to support that generalization. I've met quite a few non-US citizens who laugh at us for it. Of course there are individual exceptions.

And yes, running IS bad for your knees.

I've been startled enough to cover up quickly without much if any embarrassment if it's accidental. On purpose...? well, hmm, err, I ... what was the question?

I was working with a company out of Luxemburg a few years back and they were all laughing at the little separators we have in the mens room between the urinals. Saying we are suppose to be free and open and we can't even pee without walls.

Evidence to back up that claim? I do a lot of running and don't want to ruin my knees.
