conversations with strangers while trying to pee: 1 of those activities will prevent the other for me........
guess I'm just shy that way |
Totally! There is this one dude in my office that not only always uses the urinal right beside you (even when there are plenty other empty ones), but he is also a close talker. Those two don't mix. Period. End of Story. Stop it! |
I hate that! But the trough doesn't work for me, either. I've got stage fright. |
we have a trough at our arena.. it's classic, actually we're hoping that they put in a trough in our *new* arena because it speeds things up.
on that note, i love the wall dividers. it just helps you relax a bit more. there's nothing worse then trying to get in the zone and then having some whistling cowboy come in break your focus and then start yapping about something.
unless i'm reaaaal inebriated (sp?) i don't do well with urinals. never have. never will. stage fright. peeing is not a team sport. |
OMG!
I'm so glad that I'm a girl!
This all sounds horrifying!

No one was arguing, we were questioning your statement and asked for some supporting evidence. I in particular was curious to see what laws you thought were ridiculous that are on the books.

we actually had this when i was younger... i remember women protesting, wearing just bits of tape over their nipples.
of course i wasn't old enough to enjoy it (they probably weren't cute girls my age either) lol i dunno. it'd be kinda odd to just see women walking around topless unless it was a beach or something.
they do it in europe.

Thanks for lumping us all together.
PS - Running is bad for your knees. |
In general, yes, Americans are. We've got a lot of ridiculous laws on the books to support that generalization. I've met quite a few non-US citizens who laugh at us for it. Of course there are individual exceptions.
And yes, running IS bad for your knees. |
I'm confused. I got the impression yesterday you thought breastfeeding in public was inappropriate - or did I read that wrong?

As a prude...I thought I'd check in. I'd be mortified, at least for a few seconds, if I had an accidental exposure. I'm sure I'd eventually find it funny, but not immediately.
I tend to agree with L.E. I'd like to see a little less nudity/sex/violence whatever. JMHO, which counts for very little.

I had a JJ moment. On nice days everyone would sunbathe in the quad...I had been out earlier with a tube top and shorts and was in a floormate's dorm where we could look at the others sunbathing. She yelled down to a some guys that lived on the 10th floor and when they looked up....my top was pulled down. I was pissed, but figured hey...I'm on 4th floor....what could you see?
A few hours later in the cafeteria....I realized a few guys were staring at me....finally one said, "nice tan lines"

Well I got one that involves an accidental male appendage exposure and it wasn't mine. My buddy went on a summer day time fishing trip with his older brother and said brothers new girlfriend. My buddy, about 18 at the time, was in the front of the boat, gf in middle and big brother in the back. Now this was in the early 80's when shorts were considerably shorter than they are now. My buddy is in the front of the boat casting away when he suddenly notices his brother feverishly pointing at his own crotch. Mike has no idea what this sign language is trying to convey for the first few minutes until he looks down at his own zone. Going commando in short shorts had led to an accidental escape of the one-eyed lizard. Neither of them ever did hear whether she saw it or not....
