And yes, running IS bad for your knees.

Evidence to back up that claim? I do a lot of running and don't want to ruin my knees.

I shan't be pulled into an argument today, particularly for my tongue-in-cheek comments. Sorry to disappoint.

You do realize that making a statement like this creates an Open Season On Elkid day? Not that I would slam you, but there are those out there who are lying in wait.

I was working with a company out of Luxemburg a few years back and they were all laughing at the little separators we have in the mens room between the urinals. Saying we are suppose to be free and open and we can't even pee without walls.

I'm really not interested in the details of another guy's twig and berries.

/all hail the bathroom separator!

I am with you big time!!!! Nothing worse than trying to go and being crowded by some big guy who likes to hold a conversation...

She made 2 statements and a generalization, then when called on it refuses to back it up. I think if one is going to make such comments then they ought to be prepared to back them up. I don't think its pushing for an argument, just for clarification of a statement that was made

Totally! There is this one dude in my office that not only always uses the urinal right beside you (even when there are plenty other empty ones), but he is also a close talker. Those two don't mix. Period. End of Story. Stop it!

Oh WHATEVER! Do a google if you need backup. You will get info that says running's bad for your knees and that Americans are as a whole much more prudish than any other nation. You'll also get info that says running's not bad for you and that the US is the greatest nation evah from all perspectives. That's the beauty of opinions and statistics: everybody's got one that supports their beliefs. I'm tired of having to justify every opinion and statement. I'm tired of inane arguments that go nowhere. I'm not going there anymore.

I wish this country were a little more prudish. More class. That would be nice. The more morals get compromised and the more lines are rubbed clean and moved back a few paces, the looser people conduct themselves. In my opinion all this loose conduct leads to crime & unhappiness.

we have a trough at our arena.. it's classic, actually we're hoping that they put in a trough in our *new* arena because it speeds things up.

on that note, i love the wall dividers. it just helps you relax a bit more. there's nothing worse then trying to get in the zone and then having some whistling cowboy come in break your focus and then start yapping about something.

unless i'm reaaaal inebriated (sp?) i don't do well with urinals. never have. never will. Smile stage fright. peeing is not a team sport.
