I'm not much of a make-up wearer, but I caught some informercial or another about that Bare Minerals makeup stuff. You know - the one with the blotchy people that turn into pretty, glowy ladies? Has anyone ever tried this stuff, and what do you think?

I've seen that one too. I know Kristin was using it, although she's not here much anymore. I borrowed some when I was in Florida but it was hard to tell if it really did anything. It seems to give really good coverage without being too heavy if you put it on right. There's actually a store in our mall and I was going to go try it again.....my main complaint is that I think there's only like light, medium and dark, isn't there? Or maybe there are more at the store.
I'll make a scouting mission later this week and report back my findings.

My sister Sarah absolutely loves it... it's all she's used for ages now.

I was just thinking about her and Erinn yesterday! Hope they're both doing well[/hijack]
She's relatively fair, as I recall, too....does she have what could be considered sensitive skin? They say it's good even for those people.

i've used it and it's pretty good stuff. you'd think it would go on like a powder but it disappears but still acts like a foundation in that it can cover freckles and stuff. i liked it alot.

I think beauty comes from inside you, not out of a bottle.

See, you have a normal complexion anyway, so it might be harder to tell on you. Me, in the winter, however? I'm the color of a fubby.

It's good for everyone... she loves it because it's natural, and really covers without seeming like makeup that covers.
I hardly ever wear makeup, so I haven't tried it, but it looks fantastic on her.
She's actually moving up there to live with Erinn until she gets a job and can get a place of her own. I'm going to miss her like nobody's bidness.

Thanks ranger, but I'm getting old...
I've never worn makeup other than a little powder, much to the chagrin of several friends of mine, both current and former. I'm thinking of trying out some stuff, at least for the winter months.
So, Rolling Rock, you can't really feel anything? Does it feel like you're wearing powder? Does it look all cakey close up?

I can vouch for seeing RR up close and not ever knowing she had any kind of makeup on. I'd say it sounds worth a try.

My sister also uses it and has let me borrow it as well. I really like it and she swears by it.

Oh for cryin out loud!
All women have a natural beauty!
Remember we were talken last night about how cool Calamity Jane was, even tho she was covered with mud, drunk on her a$$, and cussin like a Bos'ns Mate?
Makeup is only to enhance the natural beauty you all already have...
Mens loved wimins long before makup was around....
