Seriously... what the heck is up with this? I didn't have any respect for MBAs before - if I did, it would be gone now.
Quit trying to market something as pure as running...

I've known/heard of a few graduate students in my field and others who are pretty good runners...one of my profs that I used to work with (he's an outstanding scientist) was a 2:36 marathoner in his late 20s, when he was a Phd student.
I guess that the overall process and mentality of both running and graduate school (as in research) are similar- both involve planning to reach a specific goal, both can be difficult and monotonous, both require self-discipline, hard work and self-motivation in order for one to be successful.
Or simply because it's a good way to get some fresh air.

After a day of outsourcing American technology to a third world nation, and putting a few hundered honest hardworking folks out of a job...I guess a good run helps em look at themselves in the mirror....
Sorry to make this an almost "On Topic"...I have a genuine hatred for 80% of MBA's......

I'd like to think that I'm in that 20% of those that you don't hate.
