"The Grapes of Wrath" is one of my all time favorites!!! Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors....."The Winter Of Our Discontent" was brilliant.
Reading "The Two Towers" right now...never did read Tolkien's books before but I'm really enjoying them.

Dorothy Parker's Elbows: Writers on Tattoo, Tattoos on Writers
It's a collection of short stories and poetry that somehow mention tattoos, from the focus or just a mention. It's been an interesting read. The last short story, I think, is by Kafka.
Also four or five chapters into
Peace Like a River by Leif Engler (I think)
I've heard good things about the book. Good read so far.

Just finished The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, and would highly reccommend it. About halfway through Pigs at the Troughby Arianna Huffington. Very interesting.[/i]
