After taking some time off from reading, I just started again last week. I figured that since I will be a positive influence on high school students, I should practice what I preach.
Currently, I'm reading "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People." Next up is a book about teaching. I have the book at work. I just can't remember the title.

I finished the Harry Potter series volumes 1-4 way back in late April-Early May. I'm now waiting with anticipation for the 5th book (15 days left till it comes!!)

last summer i read juniper tree burning. EXCELLENT!!!! i can not give this enough praise, it is now my absolute fave...
in the stack for this summer is:
the botany of desire: a plants eye view of the world
deep end of the ocean
finally saw the whole movie a few weeks ago, had previously picked up the book a few weeks earlier because i recognized the title...
and a few running books i picked up.

Well, I'm just on page 54 of 340 so i have a ways to go still. So far I've been enjoying it, but I only read it while making or eating breakfast or dinner.

Recent Trail Runner mag and Running Times. I haven't sat down to a good Book since I re-read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Amber Series by Roger Zelazny last year, (I very highly recommend this, by the way).
Not too good for a Literature Major.

Just finished "Moneyball" by Michael Lewis. It's amazing how off "conventional wisdom" can be. Like the dire predictions, into which I bought, of welfare reform.
