What an awesome show! That's gotta be one of the best ones ever.

Until they got to the Canadian "performance." I really didn't think that was up to par, especially when compared to what the rest of Torini did....

Here's to hoping for a better show in Vancouver.

I agree it was not too "happy" and UNish with peacr and everyone needs to get along and be happy stuff. It was a nice cultural and artistic match. I really enjoyed it. Especially that there were no obvious political stuff as well.

Except for the guy with the Casino <X> shirt that ran up to the podium and started ranting something....until a mob of security guys ripped him away from the microphone.

Actually, he ripped the mic right out of the podium....

It was kind of funny, 'cause I think the guy said about 3 words in total before he got slammed.

All right, here's how much of a geek I (we) am (are). We went to a concert last night, so had to miss the closing ceremonies.

So we taped them to watch later. We did the same thing with the opening ceremonies. Embarassed
