I start next Wednesday for my second of four years of law school. Who else is going, and what are you going for?

D-day: 8/30 (aka, too soon) "I thought you said 'school's out forever' "
Why for: I wanna be a nurse and the state of Texas has some really boring and un-related pre-requisite classes it needs me to take before I can get another bachelor's degree (in nursing this time) in this state. I will continue taking those and start full time in RN school (2 years) in T-minus 365 days. So, for those who failed algebra, I have 3 years until my next career starts.

i start class on monday. i will be a master od science student at ga state. i decided to remain there and use my current project as my thesis. and that being the case, im halfway done with that so, realistically, i can be done with grad school in 1- 1 1/2 years.
im excited, even though i will have to take a few classes over again, but for the most part it will be worth it.

I'm in school now, couple months left to this semester, working on my BS in paralegal studies. I'm getting nothing done currently, but out of the 7 chapters I've completed for my Communications class (only 10 chapters plus one book report), I've gotten As. It's cool, because she's been writing "15/15 - Excellent work as usual" since Ch. 3.
I've only completed 4 of 23 chapters of Legal Research (I'm so behind that I'm disgusted) and I am in the high B range. I'll fix that. I have a couple of heavy papers that are worth a lot that I will bust my butt on. Chapter work is worth very little, trying to decide if that is a good thing or not.

School starts next monday, 8/23. It will be my 4th of 5 years in mechanical engineering, even though my 5th year will be about 10 hours divided into two semesters. Damn you lock step.

Students came back on Tuesday.
And for me, I can finally say, "I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL THIS FALL BECAUSE I GRADUATED!!!!"
Sorry.
Ohh, reminds me. I got a 3.49 GPA overall. Not too bad I think.

I see that Jerry Falwell is beginning a law school for right wing zingers to defend the Christian Faith at Liberty University. How appropriate that Falwell would build his "university" in a town called Lynchburg.
I think the first classes begin this fall.

Between your choices I like OSU (assuming you mean Oklahoma State and not Ohio State University). Otherwise ASU gets my vote.

I start Monday, August 23. I will attend Oklahoma State University as a half freshman. My previous tenure at OSU (1.75 GPA in two semesters) counted for something at least.
I am headed toward a BS in Heavy Construction Engineering. 3 1/2 - 4 years left to go.

My kids are starting school in a couple of weeks.
Son is entering Junior year at the number 1 party school: NY State University at Albany. Degree program: Marketing. Note: son should have graduated next year but he had such a GREAT time in Boston during his Frosh year that sort of put a delay on things.
Daughter is entering Sophmore year at Northeaster Univ. Degree program: Music Industry. Made Dean's list all of Frosh year.
I finished my Master's in Public Admin back in 1990.

Actually, the course material is pretty good in the Seminary. (My husband was going for his Master's of Divinity there) We are Christians, but we are not extreme fundamentalists. The course work is conservative, but not so ultra conservative like Mr Falwell is. It is a decently priced school providing a pretty decent courseload. We found it funny how different the class material was from the stuff that Mr Falwell spouts off about. He definitely has problems with tact.
