With my luck, they'd put in those glass balls that are attached to the cord (clackers). Good for plenty of laughs walking down the hall.

Yes. It's all part of "the look" you need to have if you work out. If you don't look like a true workout king then you will be dismissed as a purely recreational psuedo-athlete.
