Turkey doesn't usually give me the trots... unless I use too much gravy
Actually the only trotting I do on thanksgiving is to the dinner table.
Oh yeah, I did run 3.25 miles this morning and lifted weights for an hour.

wonder if it's rude that i am having dinner at my house but yet still find it necessary to leave for the entire morning to do this race. i will have houseguests, hope they get the ball rolling. i will leave them a to-do list and it better be handled.

I am! My first race of the year too. Shooting for a sub 21. I'd really like to get a sub 20 I don't think it's going to happen this month.

I wouldn't consider it rude unless you make them do ALL the work and the only thing you contribute to is the demise of all the goodies on the table. I never help with any of the cooking but I carve the bird and then do the dishes.

Yup. Sure you don't want to come down and run that with me instead?

I would love to meet you. However, I've already signed up for the
Bolt. My mom, brother, and Mr. Pokychick(dude) are going to be there as well.
You sure you can't come to the Bolt.

I hope to be doing the St. Pete Times Gazillionth Annual Turkey Trot. Haven't decided if it will be the 5k or 10k.
And heck no, RR, it's not rude at all. They have hands and feet and they're planning on eating the stuff too. They can do a little work.

This turkey already trotted....
The trot (ha, ha: I was the trotter, but there were some really fast runners out there) was a 5 mile, off road race in Madison, WI, on the 2nd. Beautiful scenery, and I got to meet another Cool Runner from the Cool Running board.
