Count me out.....on the race, anyway. I'm just not ready and I refuse to make an ass of myself and ruin my weekend by finishing crappily. I prefer to do that after I've had way too many beers on Sunday night!

well, I'm gonna try a 10-11 miler this weekend and we'll see how it goes....if all goes well, I'll do the half strictly as a training run...
but the 10K would be much more comfortable for the shape, I'm in now...so we'll have to see...may go this way even if the long run goes well...
(Genie...what pace will you be running?)
thanks guys!

? hubby says he'll go for a run tonight to see if he can manage a 10k (injured again!!!!!!). With the moving guys coming on Saturday and son's b-day Sunday.....things aren't looking good for an appearance.......but sis in Madison says either I go there, or she's coming up to help unpack stuff (free labor ).....so I don't know......I want to drive down to meet y'all. I am definitely not running...so don't tempt me....I can be soooooo foolish.
oh, Genie.....sure, you can borrow my bunhuggers..is black okay?

i'm runnng the half. i've run over 13 miles 2 times, and just last week i did a 12 mile run and it went well. i'm not really where i was when i was training over the winter for this race, but i decided that i should just go ahead and do it.
