He is the new minority leader for the Senate. He is from Nevada and he is a Mormon. I would guess he is more of a conservative but I don't know. While Daschle was a pro choice catholic - is reid a pro life mormon??

Does this say anything about the direction of the democratic party or just a matter of the minority whip stepping in to fill the void left by the departing minority leader??

Who is he? More like what is he - another reason our country is going to hell. He scares the crap out of me. No on choice. No on alternative fuel source discovery. No to an open free trade system. No on education. No on tax reform. But yes on open killing season! The only thing this guy's got going for him is his health care stance.
