yet...still faster than you. (practicing lying if I'm going to be President)
I'd just like to point out, I barely make the age requirement.

You are 5 minutes faster than me at the marathon, but I'm faster at all other distances. Gee, how your mind goes when you're OLD.

I can't run yet. Not til the next one. I wish I could, because maybe I could teach the Yahoos down here how to calculate votes correctly...and how to check your ballot before you turn it in ....(oh wait, that's Dade county).

Don't worry... Kerry is going to check the ballots in Florida this year.
| Quote: | | "We're going to pre-check it, we're going to have the legal team in place. ... We're going to take injunctions where necessary ahead of time. We'll pre-challenge if necessary," the four-term Massachusetts senator said. |
AND
| Quote: | | "I don't think we ought to have any vote cast in America that cannot be traced and properly recounted," he said. "I intend to ask this legal team to do that, and we will identify those districts where people have had trouble voting in the past." |

I just got a chill:
"John F. Kennedy, a wealthy Democratic senator from Massachusetts, was elected president in 1960, defeating Vice President Richard Nixon. Though he clearly won the electoral vote, Kennedy's received only 118,000 more votes than Nixon in this close election."
Not exactly like the election of 2000 where the vice-president won the popular vote but lost (?) in the Electoral College by a scant margin. No, that's not the chilling part. Even though there has been and, seemingly always will be, voting irregularities, think of the alternative. Even though the Electoral College made Kennedy a clear winner, what if Nixon had been elected in '60? Would the war in Vietnam have escalated? Would the civil rights movement have really moved? Would Oliver Stone have material to make the movie, "R.M.N.?"
One thing's for certain: I wouldn't have voted for Nixon in '72.

I would not make a good President.
My programs would be too radical.
There would be a lot of unhappy criminals, and a lot of unemployed lawyers.
There would also be a lot of other nations wondering why their US financial support had suddenly been cut off.
Of course there would also be free healthcare, no hunger, fair pay for members of the military, full funding for emergency services and law enforcement, strict border control.......
See....too radical |
You'd be fine. Your bills would never get through Congress. |
What Congress? Heh heh heh......
