I'm bored. Who has had something done and what (if you're willing to share with the class)?

I have, sort of. I had a small chip on one of my front teeth from playing catch with a shot put in track as a freshman, and i had the chip fixed....and that fix fell off after a week and i haven't been back since.

Wisdom teeth extraction (had general anesthesia so it was elective surgery).
I've also had my gall bladder removed.

I had my nose done. Not on purpose. It was broken and off to the side, so they straightened it.
The Mrs. had an abdominplasty. I think they did a decent job, she is very unhappy. $8,000 out of pocket.

I think it could be considered elective surgery....my parents elected to remove a 'birthmark/freckle' from my eyeball when I was five, it made the entire white of my eye red and my parents were afraid I would be teased as I went further in school.
I can sum up the process with one word: ow.
If you're in a gross mood I can share more.

Sounds like one of those deals where you can get 6-pack abs airbrushed right on the o' gut.

I'm not sure if you're serious, but...I was 5 so its all sort of blurry but I was awake for the whole thing so I remember parts. I had to hold what felt like a sharp rock in my eye for 20-30 minutes to make the 'spot' swell up. Then I got 4 injections in the white of my eye, all were local anesthesia, but I felt the first 3 and pressure of the 4th. Yum. Then they started the pulling with the tweezers and snipping, which I couldn't really feel, only pressure. Then there were stitches. I wore a patch for a few days. And thats about all I can remember. And that my eye was killing me.
And my nieces will tell you, the name is Aunie. No T. No Cheryl. Aunie.
