and how much?
my trash crew $15.00 5 per man
mail lady, $20.00, nice lady, plus my dad worked for the PO and they were good to him.
all of Abby's nurses and therapists got at least a small present some got cash.
I reallly do not tip anyone else.

You beat me to it! Our Trash guys are okay but don't do anything fantastic. If the paperboy was actually a local kid doing the deliveries he would get a tip but no such luck!

i also make it a point to get my haircut near Christmas and give him a bigger than normal tip for Christmas
back in the day i would go to all my favorite local bars and give my favorite bartenders (never met one i did not like  ) a Christmas tip

Our trashmen do a crappy job. They aren't getting anything from me.
The maillady and my wife are on a first name basis and I think sometimes she stops in for tea.
I cut my own hair and I don't go to bars or get the newspaper.

No tips here either.
We pay the paper quartly since we have a professional delivery family. They drive down the road at about 40 miles an hour through the paper from the car window. I only see them on my morning runs.
A tip for the trash man? Yeah they taped an envelope to the can last week. I seem to have missplaced it. 
I tip well when I get a hair cut or eat out but some of this seems to be getting out of hand.

I saw my trash crew on 27 December and personally delivered the tip to the driver who is the crew captain. I had JJ with me since he likes trash trucks and they let hm see all around the trash truck and were very nice to him. They really appreciated the tip because they all said thank you. I throw a lot of trash out also. Abby alone is good for at least 1-2 bags a day and we usually put out about 4 to 5 cans each trash day (2 times a week collection). The guys are nice and polite to JJ. They always allow him to throw bags in and stuff.

Here's a tip for you.
Always keep your sh$t together, and always wear a crash helmet.
I'll tip our trash guys, the mailman, and bartenders extra. If I had a decent stylist up here they would also receive a bigger tip, but I have yet to find one.
