Well, Which is Mr. President? You told us we were going to Iraq to get WMD, then you changed it to get the terrorists, then it was to liberate, then it was back to terrorists.

The election was lost onthe inability of Kerry to make a decision and stick with it, and now, you Mr. President, cannot decide why we are there.

While we are at it, please explain the Veitnam style tactics that were proven then NOT to work. Even I know that after you fight and capture land, the idea is to hold that land and not let the bad guys back in. You are fighting for land, getting the land, then retreating and leaving the land open for the terrorists to mve back in. Don't ya think they see that? Hello, is anybody paying attention?

Please Mr. President, rewrite you address and this time tell us what the plans are for getting out, not why we are there, we know why, or at least we think we do, just get us out.

Who wants to bet that when his ratings sink a little further, the terror alert will go up? Orange by the end of July, anyone?

Regardless of why we went in there initially... we are there now. We can't change that.

We have help develop a free Iraq, begun writing a new Constitution and freely elected leaders from a variety of Islamic groups across their country, and now training local security to take over once we leave.

Let's finish what we started.

blah blah blah. This president can't sneeze without offending someone. Can't we just move onto other topics once in a while besides president bashing.

Yeah he is my man and he has my utmost support but for goodness sake hindsight is 20/20. From what I know and I know from talking to people who had boots on the ground. Iraq and Afganistan are better with our coming, staying and rebuilding than it was before we were there. I heard first person accounts from people who were there. That is why I support what we are doing fully.

The troops are serving bravely despite a great deal of criticism from people. If you take a survey of the military, and this I know again from people who were there, in leadership roles, President Bush is loved and admired by the troops. The troops believe in the mission and their CIC. That says a lot.

The President gave a speech about it last night, in it he sort of restated his reasons for going over.

I know, I watched it. I also know that no matter what the man says, Liberals are going btich and moan about it. They've yet to offer any viable solutions though. The president did this, the president did that. And he did it with support of many of the people who are now raising the most hell.

He was on TV last night.... He is the one that continues to lie to us. He is the one that cannot possible get his story straight.

We were also promised that the oil would pay for the reconstruction, this has not happened. We were, and still are being told, that the Iraqi's are being trained to take over, yet they are conspicuously missing during all the offensive moves we are making.

I agree Sonny, lets FINISH what we started. Lets get an exit strategy, lets see a plan to get the heck OUT.

Right now all I see is our soldiers dying, being maimed, and the ability of our armed forces to keep our homeland safe decreased. Thats what I see.

Spoken like a true American.... Kill, kill, kill with no real reason or need. Wouldn't you like to at least have a little truth? Or do you just follow along with the President because he is the President.

Iraq has not been shown to be part of 9-11
Iraq has and has not had any WMD's
Saddam is Out, isn't that what we wanted, the second time.
Iraq has shown no real desire to control themselves.

Liberal... I doubt it. I want the Iraqi's to stand up and for once show us they want to be be free and take over. The elections are sham bunch of crap. The person that is elected has about the same power as the dog in the street.

You all keep saying it's just and right. When do you say enough is enough? Do you have a number of dead soldiers? Is their a cap? Do you really think that the Iraqi's are gonna have a democtratic society? Sure elect Joe Banana and he'll run the country. ya right.

I know a lot of soldiers over there. I served with many of them and after 15 years still keep in contact with them. When they write me, their letters aren't all we wanna be here, I can tell you that. Moral is LOW. Way low. They are tired and want to come home as much as we want them home.

What lies did he tell?

Iraqi's are being trained and they are contributing. Currently only about 2000 of them have been trained to what our military considers a level high enough for them to go about it alone. Thousands more are at various stages of training. You don't just put these guys thru a 12 week course and throw them to the dogs.

I see our soldiers dying and being maimed also. It keeps me awake at night because I got a kid in the Persian Gulf right now who could be in the middle of it on a moments notice. There is no one who wants to see this end any more than I do. If we half-ass things and exit prematurely we will most certainly bring more harm than good upon ourselves in the future.

I don't see our homeland security as decreased one bit.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is ok to send our boys after 12 weeks? Basic training, some AIT and welcome to Iraq.

This blind acceptance is horrible. With a child in harms way you should be rioting in front of the White House. This war is wrong and gets worse everyday.

C'mon Go. He did not say that Iraq was responsible for 9/11. Give the wmd's a rest too. We went in there obviously with faulty intelligence. They had them at one time, even used them on their own people. We've argued about this same stupid thing a million times and come to the same conclusion - you think he's lying and soley responsible for the war and I think you're full of crap.
