but we'll probably be redo-ing it soon so I'm gonna move it down to the basement next to my weights...(and if I play my cards right this Christmas, I'll have a hot tub next to my treadmill that's next to my weights...) |
Do you make your guests run on it? Alright!! I better get 3 miles outta you, or you're not going to bed!! And no toilet paper either!! |
The treadmill runs our generator...If no one's running, we have no power. Monkeys must run!!!! Monkeys must run!!!!

In the basement right infront of a TV! I hate running on the mill, but what can you do? I hate the cold more. Only problem is I have to crank the volume on the tube, and my wife complains "why do you need it so loud"? I usually run in the morning and watch Imus on MSNBC.

But why do you want/need one? I see all these treadmill posts and don't get it.

That's a good reason. I feel like an idiot for having jumped into a conversation when I didn't know the context. But I am genuinely perplexed by the seeming ubiquity of treadmills and people running on them instead of, well, outside.

lots of times it is necessity. I have three young children and can only run sometimes on the treadmill while I am in my basement. I have a gate around my mill to keep little fingers out also.
I would run considerably less if I did not have one. Over 1/2 of my runs are indoors.
