Wasn't there a space odyssey planned for that year anyway?

I'd like to say in 22 more years.
I don't know? I'll have to see where I'm at with my retirement funds and what I've got saved up. This is something I know I'll be looking at closely.
I should know, but I don't. I never had to worry about it for many, many years. Pretty lame.

Thats the reason that I took early retirement in 1996. I simply saw too many of my older friends retire at age 65 and then die before they could enjoy it.
I left the business world then and never looked back. I finally had the time to dive head first into things that I enjoy and have been a busy camper since them. Running, shortwave radio, reading, relic hunting, traveling to NASCAR races and spending quality hiking time with friends on the VA segment of the AT are a few of the things I've done/experienced. Would I make the same decision again ... absolutely.
I've been blessed with good health and hope to follow the same game plan in the future. I firmly believe that age is a state of mind.

Financially I'm not in a place to even contemplate this yet, but I agree with your thoughts. I'll always do something.

crap, I'm just trying to figure out when I will realistically START working. I have no idea when I'll finish. I'm think I'll die at a desk or in a law library though.

Hopefully my body will still be at work, and they won't have planned for how to extinguish the flames.
