I was going to post this before RWS got his because my son just had his day in court on Thursday but I left town before I could start a thread.

I got a ticket for passing on the right-hand shoulder way back in 1989. I got out of it by going to traffic school. TN had some pretty easy laws when it came to traffic tickets.

That's the only ticket I've ever gotten besides a warning.

I put up some nice numbers in my younger days. But I went from 1992 to 2001 without a single ticket. Then I got one for 70 in a 55...on the interstate and missed the sign outside Waco where the speed limit drops. Only driven that stretch of road about 300 times (not kidding)...just wasn't paying attention. Officer was laughing that I clearly missed the sign because I never budged off 70 when I went past him...got off by taking defensive driving.

I've only had 1 speeding ticket 68 in a 55 I think I was 18 at the time. Had a few other tickets for accidents tho. Embarassed I was 16 then. Court ordered driving school for me and outragous insurance until I turned 25.
The speeding ticket was the last one I got. If I get one tonight on my way home its all PH's fault.

yeah, way to jinx us all, PH!!

Last ticket was for speeding...I believe 1996...79 in a 55...ouch. Cop lowered the speed for me so the punishment was less harsh.

I got several speeding tickets in college (my right foot is really heavy...) but I haven't had one in 2 years now...(knocking on wood) I got one October 2000 with the exact same story as Alan except instead of Waco I was in Nacogdoches, TX. I too was going 70 in 55 and missed the reduced speed sign. The officer didn't find it as fubby in my case tho. I got a nice lecture on keeping Texas highways safe....

back in 1989...I got a ticket because as I was making a right hand turn into a private driveway someone was trying to pass me on the right and I hit her. I got a ticket for "illegal right hand turn". To this day, I do not understand that one!!!! If it were four lanes and I was trying to go from the left lane and crossed over a lane--sure, but there was only two......but it all washes out in '93 I rear-ended two people a month apart and they didn't call the police.

I refuse to answer the question that this thread poses for fear that it will cause the very thing that I try to avoid.

let's not talk about how many accidents we've been involved in either, I don't want you to think less of me (well, any less than you already do, pass the worms please)

Never in PA,, stopped a few times though. Prof. courtesy as well. Not so lucky in NJ, courtesy didn't matter to them. Last ticker was in June 1990 in some one sheriff town in Elmer, NJ.

Not Guilty, never had one. The only time I have been stopped is for those routine drink/driving checks where they block off the road and stop every car. But i did get a $10 parking ticket once Razz .
