  I'M GRADUATING IN DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short for those of you who heard me ranting last week.....our practicum coordinator wasn't doing her job, as usual, and gave me misinformation so I pulled rank and went over her head to the department chair, who is one of my favorite professors, and somehow after speaking with him, she "found a loophole" in the grandfather clause that says that I can opt for the shorter internship if I am OK with waiving licensure, which I am. I am burnt to a crisp between working more than full time, doing a part time internship at a site over an hour away and dealing with my mom's illness, and at this point, I told him, I just want my life back to normal.
Sooo...after she so humbly called me today to say that she had been mistaken about it being too late for me to take this option, I filled out part 1 of my paperwork and my advisor will be reviewing my transcripts after this Friday. That's why I say 99%, with these yokels you can never tell what they are going to screw up.  If all goes well, which I already checked, I am DONE DONE DONE in 10 weeks and will have my Master's degree and a huge load off my plate.
Life is indeed good!!!!!

Great news Genie! Hopefully it works and you encounter no further glitches!
Were you at one point working on or towards a PhD? What does waiving licensure mean? And what will you do now (besides go to disneyland)?
Graduation...let me know what thats like!!

Yea!!! Congratulations!!!
I'm so proud of you!
How is your mom doing lately? We missed you on this trip and want to see you. Perhaps a graduation trip is in order. It doesn't look like the St Louis thing is going through (which may be a good thing, due to their recent management changes) so we'll likely be here still. It's lovely here in December!
