you have good taste.......Neko's gonna be at SXSW but you need a wristband to get in.....
I will, however, get to see James McMurtry tomorrow at noon at a free show on the outside stage at Mother Egan's......also, Jud Newcomb, Jon Dee Graham, Will Sexton, and The Gourds.......
Then Thursday, if I can get in.....Roky Erickson and the Explosives at Threadgill's..........

I'm in the Big Tomato...about 25 miles from Sacramento.
Sac is fine, if your tastes run toward mullets and black t-shirts with the sleeves cut off...
Local boys that have hit it big: Papa Roach, Tesla, Cake (though I do like John McCrea's stuff).
Those seeking more, um...refined forms of entertainment need to head in the direction of the SF Bay area.
The Duhks are kinda neo-Celtic folk/rock...lead singer Jessie Havey has one heckuva set of pipes.
And thanks for the compliment, BTW!
