I'm refusing to read anything for another week or so. I just ordered my texts for the upcoming semester and I'll be doing tons of exciting reading to include: Drugs and Society, Peer Pressure Reversal, and Substance Abuse Counseling. No books for my thesis class. I have a sneaky suspicion they expect me to read all that research I'll be doing.

should be required reading for all parents of high school kids!
i'm still struggling thru The Secret Life of Bees. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz. i can't stay away to finish a chapter but i will push on. there's absolutely no sex, drugs or rock and roll -- maybe that's the problem.

 When I sit down to watch a movie with my kids, that's like the first thing I ask. "Has it got any car chases, big explosions, gun fights or kung-fu? No? Call me when you're watching a movie that does."
