I would love to own and run my own lighthouse.

I love lighthouses and Robin and I both love the ocean. It would be cool to run it and allow people to come and see it.

Yeah that would be cool.

Tour guide at some place on the ocean. Or a personal trainer/fitness instructor. Or a writer. Or if I have to have a job in my field (and thank you, prohemp for planting this seed) work as a CFA (bust people like Ken Lay).

(Something that has absolutely nothing to do with corporate America, except the last option does)

You just have to get the Dem's in the senate to quite fillibustering and start approving first

I've been thinking about this for a while, trying to decide which of my options I would like the most, but I can't pick just one. I'm one of those people that needs to be involved in 72 things at one time to really feel like I'm doing something worthwhile, but since I'm kinda mapping out my future now, here's what I came up with so far......

Edited to add, this got really long, so what I think I need to do is set up a mental health foundation that will accomplish all of the following:

--educational programs on parenting, after all, there is no Parenting 101 course, and nipping the problems at the beginning could prevent a lot of screwed up adults!
--fundraising, in the form of races, of course, like Susan B. Komen, but for mental health awareness programs, education and research grants, etc
--community health publications on mental illness, particularly eating disorders in men, which is much more prevalent than we are aware
--national support group chapters for different mental illnesses, hit that which is not already saturated, like the ED thing, and support for men whose wives suffer from Post Partum Depression

I could go on and on.....and that doesn't cover the cheffy aspects....hehehe I think I need to win the lottery!

I really like what I do now, so to make it a dream job it would pay more and I would have a disgusting amount of vacation. I suffer from severe wanderlust syndrome, so the extra pay and vacation would just cover my medical expenses.
