I LOVED high school. 
I was really involved in a lot of different things and had friends from all walks of life - the football team, the math club, the cheerleaders, AP classes. I also wasn't as serious as I was when I was littler and so I balanced school with a lot more fun.
If you're just counting actual school, I couldn't pick a year... yes, I loved school, HATED summer vacation...

8th. i had a great group of friends, we has all the same classes, ate lunch everyday, etc...
this is dorky but we had "theme" songs one nirvana song and a greenday one. both of which were played at the skating rink every fri nite!
