I'm not telling mine, until someone comes up with a more dorky one than mine.

I wasn't allowed to trick-or-treat when I was a kid. It's scarred me for life.

Do you mean as a kid or as an adult?
Prbably Mississippi River prom queen the year everything flooded...one year, group of us dressed up as Valujet crash survivors (yes, I KNOW it was in very poor taste).
I've always wanted to do a group costume as a travelling Jerry Springer show, although it's kind of tired now. It would have been more amusing about 4 - 5 years ago.
Don't know what I'll do this year.

ME TOO!!! I had to hand out nickels and 'why Halloween is Bad' leaflets...
But they DID let us all go once and I went as Dracula...so I'd have to say that was my favorite costume...

As a kid -- my sister made a great werewolf costume for me
College--- two of us wore suits and bandaged our heads and were the
DEAD KENNEDY'S
Adult-- Pebbs was a scarecrow and I dressed as Dorothy with hairy legs, an Aunt Em tattoo, a cigar, three day stubble and ruby red steel toe boots
--also our entire family (6 of us) went to a race as Wizard of Oz characters--

This must explain why we're both so bitter and spiteful...

one year, pre-teen or early teen, Mom made me a clown costume. She was great with a sewing machine. It was black and white, alternating panels, with these big white & red yarn pompoms down the front, and she strung red yarn through a hairnet for my wig, and topped it off with a black hat with a daisy in it. It was a way cute costume, and makes me wish I had the sewing talent that every other woman in my family has.
I have not ever dressed up as an adult, and always think I will with the kids, but it never happens. Maybe this year, we'll see.

I was holly hobby one year, or two, or three.
I went trick or treating once when I was a sr in high school....the girls were all ghosts although with makeup and jewelry and the guys were prostitutes. We went throught McDonald's drivethru a million times. ??But I think we were sober----but then again doubtful.
