I like to cycle and would like to do it all the time. I have a problem with it during winters since it gets very cold that time of the year. I don’t know what to wear. Whatever I put on seems inappropriate and inadequate. I would appreciate your advice.

Well the best thing you can do is – stay at home. Riding on a really cold weather is not advisable. You may have problems with your sinuses not to mention slipping on an icy road or having strong, cold wind blowing out any ounce of warmth you have. I suggest you stay home on such days. If you must train then you can consider buying an indoor trainer. Thus you can work out every day if you like and yet stay away from the horrible weather outside.
