A Steel Helmet that was worn by a Marine from the First Marine Division during WWII. Even had his name on the chin strap.

(It's a Zenith Transoceanic vacuum tube radio that still works)
Mr Aire's grandpa gave us one of these and an antique Navajo rug (worth big bux)
I have a book titled "Complete works of Shakespeare" from 1886 and a school history book that still had Hitler as a good guy, just another world leader.

I have a few coins from British East Borneo (no longer exists) dating from 1845. I also have an old German bible from the late 1800's.

I have a wall hanging (3' x 4 1/2') carved from one piece of driftwood into the bust of a Spanish conquistador. AND it's been sort of painted; his helmet is gold, and he's wearing a sort of red and goldy/silver tunic. There's stamps and stickers on the back certifying it as some artifact by some Spanish Commission of Something. It should be certified UGLY.
Hubby walked into Norwegian grandparents' apartment back in January and said "I've always liked that Spanish wall hanging." Poppa immediately ripped it off the wall and gave it to him. Lucky us.
Did I mention the thing watches you when you walk into a room? Or that it sticks 12 inches out from the wall?
It better be worth big bucks.

I've always heard those Spanish are well indowed.

Although the alternative may be an improvement.

Yeah, they work great! Only mine are the cabinet ones... 2 are the deluxe ones that are in a long console, and 1 is the standard tall console. Finding records (Goodman Bros. & Glenn Miller are favorites) is easy, too, at antique shows and flea markets.
