Hmm. I think that I'm strong enough to be a single mother, that I'm smart enough (or have everyone fooled that I am) to do well in college while being a single mother. Oh, and that tattoos don't really hurt that much.

that i gave up the bar life and the potential for multiple partners for a steady.
...i guess that's the biggest one for right now. it seemed like the thing to do growing up.

Just remember, you are training law enforcement professionals for generations to come. You can take the cop off the street, but you cannot take the street out of the cop. You experience passed on, are lessons your students do not need to learn the hard way.
Besides, you are building a completly new program at your school.
