No, not a drinking thread (at least that's how it's starting).
How's your long weekend shaping up? We know robp's will be most excellent.
Today I finally get at some solid food Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary (NO, DEAR, THIS IS NOT RELIEVING ME OF GETTING YOU A CARD) - number 22 . And Sunday being the fourth will be parades and a cookout at good friends of ours. No work Monday.
And I may even get to start running again!
Now. You. Go.

I know we will be in Uptown Charlotte for the fireworks on Sunday, but not sure what else we have planned. Hubby is on vacation (I found out last night, urg!) until Wed, so probably a lot of eating bad-for-us food & watching him play on the Gamecube. Hoping to get some homework done, maybe cookout a bit if the weather holds, and just general chillin.

Travelling to the WONderful city of South Bend, Indiana to visit my folks in their new home. I'm guessing it will be a bit of a stressful, albeit pleasant, weekend. Their last house was their last house for 34 years, so I imagine they're going through a bit of readjustment :eyeroll:
Other than that, hoping to hook up with an old friend I've not seen a while, if he can make it in from Chicago, in which case we might head out and make some trouble...
Got a 6 and a 13 mile run on the books too. It'll be weekends like this that'll really make me wish I had one of them thar new fangled Fahr-runners...

Hopefully hang out with HYPER, Miss Steph, alyson and Crazyfrog (?) tonight.
Probably go see Spiderman 2 some night this weekend. Church on Sunday morning and fireworks that night (if it doesn't rain). That's the only planned things. The rest I'll just play by ear.

Tonight I hope to relax a bit, it's been quite busy lately. Saturday, I'm hoping to go on a group run in a park nearby. Sunday: I'm in the parade at noon, then the rest of the day is spent relaxing with the in-laws, Fireworks at night.

Today: Ran 11 miles (no pain yet), going to see the ortho doctor at 2 p.m. (PRAYERS PLEASE!!!), doing some work for a new client this afternoon and dinner with some friends at their house this evening.
Saturday: Going to find a yardsale that hopefully has a road bike for sale (I'm going out on the edge now and I'm going to start training for a triathlon!), go see Spiderman 2 (if my boys don't see it today), Tae Kwon Do, meet with another client and have dinner at his house.
Sunday: Church, bbq at a friends' house, relax
Monday: nothing on the agenda yet but probably hiking or something if it is a nice day.
We rented 5 (count them!) movies last night so during the "down time" (if there is any) I'll be watching them. We got "Barber Shop 2" (saw that last night), "Bad Santa," "Spartan" (sounds like a movie I probably won't want to watch), "Paycheck," and "Superman" (for the kiddo).
