It is raining here, and will all day. I am doing laundry at the moment. Later today I need to go and buy some new jeans. All my old ones are too big Going from a 35 to a 33 (could wear a 32 if I didn't need to breathe so much).

I was happy going from a 34 to a 32, and now all my 32's are too big. That's a nice feeling of accomplishment.
today I am going on a cleaning rampage. I've already done some damage to the bathroom: combined about 6 shampoo bottles into 1, and got rid of about 4 tubes of toothpaste that someone thought we could get one more out of! I've got a garbage bag in hand and I'm headed for the dining room table.......

I am so jealous of you guys getting to shop for smaller sizes.
I am getting ready to drive my stepson to a friend's house
and they are going to play paintball all afternoon.
I need to be in a cleaning mood, but as usual I'm not.

In the upper 50's here, but real cloudy, looks to be a hella rainy weekend.
Just got back from the Denny's/Food Shopping ritual. Now I am going to take it easy. I think.

It is 9:15am here, and I've been up for about 45 minutes. <yawn> That was nice...sleeping until I didn't want to anymore. Weather is cloudy and cool, so I don't have to get up early to beat the heat anymore.
Mr. Lambda and I are taking the random tandem on a very hilly test ride today. We signed up for a metric century that has 16 miles uphill, average 7% grade, and a 3000 ft elevation change. Today we're going to find out if we have a snowball's chance of making it up that hill.
After that is the usual laundry and cleaning up stuff. Then dinner. Then...
edited to say it was 9:15 when I started writing...a phone call and a cup of coffee later it got posted.

nope, no news yet...Probably find out on Monday or Tuesday...Instead of going out drinking, I'll treat myself to an ice cream cone or perhaps some mini-golf....
