I'm often disgusted by my lack of patience when cooking food in a microwave oven. there was a time that we would have had to do all that the conventional way. now that we can do it in a fraction of the time, I still want it faster.

microwave is cool because there is a reward at the end.
Paint drying takes too long.

I voted for running on a treadmill. I usually walk away from the microwave when it is cooking, and latex paint dries pretty fast, but the treadmill...

I can't stand treadillls, but paint drying is about as boring as it gets.
At least with a microwave you can put messed up food in at a really high heat and wath the fun...
