One word. TRUST.
(oh yeah, and knowing that she is always right helps, too.)

A good husband is one who will put gas in your vehicle when you barely have any left, because it was too cold for you to get your own lazy butt out and do it yourself. Thanks Keith!!

A good husband/wife puts their spouse before themselves in all things.

All right.
The criteria? For instance, would the opinion of a person married but one year have the same weight as a person married for fifteen? What about an unmarried person? Oh, my!...someone who's been divorced? Yikes!
Then again, might not this be one of the most highly personal subjects to which we (almost all) have been quizzed?
Not that it means doodly squat, but I am one week away from the 30th anniversary of my wedding.

no dear... it's what you want...
no dear... it's what YOU want..
this makes movie store decisions tough.
i put my g/f first almost all the time... i'm not convinced she always puts me first. at least it's always first when it's convenient for her, and heaven forbid i put someone else first that night... oh my.
most of my decisions are based on what would make her, then i, happy. at some point i'm gonna have to put i before her, on a few more occasions.
