First one I thought of was Hoosiers, followed closely by Breaking Away. We used to race around the block when we were kids, switching off on each lap. and, if a little Rossini can't get you going, nothing can!

I didn't like Rudy. All he did was whined the whole movie, and then he got in for one stupid play. Whoopty Doo.

I immediately thought of Hoosiers and Rudy.
I haven't seen "Breaking Away".
Shawshank Redemption is a good one. Rocky is also good. I like to watch the Rocky movies while running on the treadmill in the basement.
Edited to add "Remember the Titans"!
